Approach
Our approach is based on three main principles: define, design and deliver.
Flexibility is key: our team of specialists can either work with your in-house design team or create a program or product from scratch.
Define
The first step is identifying the customers’ wants and needs. The project team will conduct brainstorming sessions, which will be followed by a clear and concise briefing and debriefing. The result will consist of well-defined objectives and deliverables.
Design
Using different mood boards, sketches and form studies, our designers are able to explore how the product could be realized. They structure the outcome and identify which concept or form is suited best for a specific client. The product's ergonomics and performance requirements are defined at this stage and our engineer prepares technical drawings in order to create prototyping models.
Deliver
Helios uses the most experienced and knowledgeable prototyping companies to turn sketches into 3D products. Mock-ups or hand samples are made by stereo lithography and thermoforming techniques. Helios is well aware that changing a complete service has an enormous impact on both crew and passengers, which is why we are able to produce small production runs for onboard testing. Crew and passenger feedback from test flights is used to make final adjustments.
